Cookies, maps and location
Version dated 27 September 2026. This is an independent demo, not a municipal service. No account, analytics or advertising profiling is used.
- Technical data: Cloudflare receives IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site. Its policies describe processing, retention and transfers.
- Local technical storage: locri:consent-v1 stores choice, date and version for six months; route, stops and audio progress remain until cleared. Cached pages and downloaded audio remain until you or your browser remove them.
- Optional maps: only with consent are map images loaded from OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF, UK). The provider receives IP, technical data and the requested area; see its policy for retention, recipients and transfers. Maps are not required to read or listen to the guide.
- Optional location: after map consent and your explicit request, the browser asks for location permission. Coordinates are used in memory to centre the map and display your position, without storage or transmission to our database. Map image requests can reveal your approximate area to the provider. We keep no movement history.
- Withdrawal: “Stop location” stops GPS; “Privacy settings” → “Continue without maps” stops GPS and removes the map. Consent is optional and can be withdrawn without losing access to the guide. Browser permissions can also be revoked in browser settings. Requests already sent cannot be recalled.
- External links: Google Maps and business websites open only when you choose, and apply their own privacy policies. Their content is not embedded before clicking.

Purposes and legal bases: delivery and security of the guide based on the controller’s legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); optional external maps and location based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Strictly necessary preferences retain choices requested by the user. No automated decisions or profiling take place.

Offline use
Your first visit needs a connection. Previously visited pages may remain available offline. Use “Save audio offline” on each stop and wait for confirmation. External maps require internet. Your browser may clear saved data when storage is low.

Full transcripts for every audio guide, keyboard controls, readable contrast and reduced motion support. Audio never starts automatically. Please confirm step-free access at physical venues directly: this guide does not certify their accessibility.
